Adshel NZ appoints Christie Tanner as Group Sales Manager Auckland

Adshel NZ has today announced the appointment of Christie Tanner as Group Sales Manager – Auckland, moving into the role from her previous position as a Senior Account Manager for Adshel.

Reporting into Adshel Sales and Marketing Director, Ben Gibb, Ms Tanner will lead and mentor the growing Auckland sales team of five, working closely with clients to deliver innovative and effective solutions that engage audiences. She brings to the role a decade of experience in the out-of-home industry, having previously worked for companies including Clear Channel UK and OGGI Advertising.

Adshel Sales and Marketing Director, Ben Gibb, said: “Christie’s promotion is well-deserved; she has spent five years working with Adshel, has a wealth of knowledge, great relationships with clients, and has continued to exceed expectations and targets. Having seen Adshel diversify from static posters to a multi-product offering, including the innovative digital and data capabilities offered across the Adshel Live network, Christie has been integral in meeting the sales targets in line with this expansion and digital investment.”

“Christie has a natural leadership style and, with our former Group Sales Manager Simon Paul recently moving to the Wellington office, this was the perfect time and opportunity for Christie to step up and take on the next challenge. It’s a testament to our people that we have been able to fill this role with an internal promotion, and I’m pleased we’ll be able to continue developing and nurturing our key talent.”

Ms Tanner said: “It’s a fantastic time to be in the out-of-home industry, a sector that is growing on par with interactive advertising, with a huge push for innovation – and Adshel is truly at the forefront. Having worked with the business for five years, I’m excited to have the opportunity to lead the Auckland sales team into its next phase of growth.”

Ms Tanner’s appointment is effective immediately.
