Adshel NZ powers up its Wellington office
Outdoor advertising company Adshel NZ today announced a series of appointments in the Wellington office to support the continued expansion of its footprint of static and digital street furniture across the country.
The Wellington office, which manages all New Zealand business from Taupo south as well as Australian-related business, has experienced rapid growth over the past few years which has delivered outstanding results for the business.
Wellington Group Sales Manager and Head of National Trading Phil Lucy has been promoted to full time Head of Revenue and Media Services.
Adshel’s Sales & Marketing Director Ben Gibb said: “Phil has been a stalwart of the Adshel business in Wellington for the past 12 years. His promotion to Head of Revenue and Media Services is both an indication of an increasingly important strategic pillar for Adshel and an acknowledgement of Phil’s track record and intimate understanding of our business.”
Simon Paul, currently Adshel’s Auckland Group Sales Manager, has been appointed to the role of Wellington Group Sales Manager replacing Phil.
“Simon brings a wealth of media experience and a deep understanding of Adshel’s business to the Wellington market,” Mr Gibb said.
“Phil’s a hard act to follow but having someone of Simon’s calibre to take up the reins adds a lot of firepower to our Wellington business”.
In addition to Wellington and regional clients Simon will take the lead on all Christchurch business.
In a further boost to the Wellington team Lisa Lee has been promoted to Senior Account Manager. Lee joined Adshel in April 2014 as an Account Manager and this promotion is recognition of the strong contribution she has made to the growth of Adshel’s Wellington business in the past 2 years.
Mr Gibb said: “As Phil has been focusing on National Trading responsibilities, Lisa has stepped up and really led the charge in the Wellington market. She has built great client relationships and the results that she has delivered are outstanding”.
In addition to Wellington clients, Lee will draw on her previous experience in digital media to become Adshel’s digital lead in the Wellington marketplace working closely with Rick Goodwin, the Digital and Technology Sales Manager, along with taking the lead on all Australian-based business.
Mr Gibb said: “Adshel has always had a strong local presence in Wellington with great support from clients and these appointments will enable us to provide even better service to the Wellington, Christchurch and regional markets as we continue to expand our footprint. ”
Phil Lucy and Lisa Lee’s appointments are effective immediately with Simon Paul transferring to his Wellington role from April 3rd.
Adshel hopes to announce a replacement for the Auckland Group Sales Manager position in the near future.
