Sustainability in the office

To ensure Adshel remains a sustainable company not only on the broader business level but also on a personal level, we have implemented "green" practices in our offices, which include:
· printing most of our marketing materials including all corporate stationary on 100% recycled paper;
· introduction of general and paper waste recycling facilities in every office;
· Adshel also has an internal 'green team' working on encouraging personal sustainability among staff such as switching off the lights and appliances at the mains, printing less materials where possible, practice car pooling and more.
Supporting the Environment
As a market leader, Adshel supports sustainability and actively aims to reduce its impact on the environment. Our sustainability strategies direct new product development, shelter installation and maintenance procedures and company-wide green initiatives.

Some of the initiatives we apply to ensure commitment to a green future are:

the adshel tree planting project

As a leader in out of home advertising and infrastructure solutions and as a responsible corporate citizen, Adshel has pledged to give back to the environment it operates in.

In celebration of its 10th Anniversary in 2008, Adshel is sponsoring the planting of native kauri trees throughout the Coromandel Peninsula. The trees will be planted on behalf of Adshel’s staff, clients and councils.

For this project Adshel has committed to work with The Kauri 2000 Trust which is committed to re-establishing native kauri forests. The Kauri 2000 Trust is a charitable trust with a long term aim of recreating significant stands of kauri throughout the Coromandel Peninsula.
